End Up Guessing

Flower and a vase
Flower blooms in certain time
Vase comes as its shelter
It provides water

You came on and off
As the weather in spring
Could not stop to think of
Now end up guessing

Tell Me What's Love Is

Lovers met by fate
The girl may says....
We met by coincidence
The girl has feelings...

Love can be unspoken
Love may be portrays
Love can be one sided
But, true love may stays

Know More

Tell me more I did know

Tell me more I didn't know

Sometimes my mind go blanking

When I see you talking

Long day and night

Thinking back for awhile

Please give me a sight

To know you more...

------

"the moon keeps staring back at me, won't you see me too...?"

Wind and Water

Wind and water is a friend

It pushes away to shore

Maybe it's just an end

When love is losing it's force

Wind and water is a friend

They form a wave

Life is long, prayers are send

Your name still recited

----

"say it's adoration; say it's love"

"say it's addiction; say it's shame"

"wondering all day, waiting..."

"won't you stop the time ticking..."

Mini Review : Ziarah (2016) - Spoiler Alert

Hi, back to a short movie review. I watched this movie on my flight about a week ago. I will not gonna spill lot of facts on it, though... Due to the broken monitor on my seat, I barely hear the dialog, but there was a subtitle on the screen. So today, I'll try to summarized the messages hidden on this movie (under my point of view, obviously). The movie succeeded to describe related scene to our life in general... I can't complained much, but I really like the director's (B.W. Purba Negara) story-line. I found this movie is a bit heart breaking for the people who watch. For the first time, I thought this movie was a little bit like easy-to-watch, truthfully... it is not... hehe uniquely the movie chose to use Javanese language for all the scripts.

Ziarah means to visit someone who passed away before us... the main character was a young man who currently going to wed his girlfriend... This man has a grandmother (his parents already passed away long time ago). In early time of the movie, it begun with a portrait scene of main character with his girlfriend talking about the design of their future home (which is very romantic, in a way), and continued to the story about the grandma walking alone went for her solo trip to search the grave of her beloved husband. The main character wants to ask for grandma's permission for the wedding, that's why the man was trying as well to find his grandma who often went away.  Long story short, the man found his grandma sitting beside the lake (which was told that it was a graveyard by someone she met on her journey). I feel desperate when, the grandma said "everyone keeps telling there and there, I don't know who I should believed anymore." Which gave me goosebumps until now....

The end of the movie finally the grandma found his beloved husband graveyard alongside with a unknown woman grave who tragically was his latest spouse. During the journey grandma meeting lot of people bad and good, same as in our life... life is a journey. I think a phrase like "you reaps what you sow" is not happening in terms of love, since love I guess a very sensitive and un-logical. I kept remembers the terms of: "you can falling in and out of love with anyone." Love as the 'rights' in social environment. But we could not prevent someone to not falling out from love, as it also their rights on doing that. Grandma on this movie have a very big-big heart. I can't stand my tears when she started to clean her husband's graves, what a role-model. My friend, Evy was told me, terms of love... if you still wanting any returned from him then it is not a love. Love is sincere. That's what's love means.

No wonder this movie wins three awards and had a big rating (8,2/10 IMDb). Very serious and relate to the life of the audience. I recommend to watch it, if you like a ballad, historical, and quiet mysterious movie. Thank you for reading...

Right Time

Finding peace in a silent

While waiting restlessly

A solid sound of heart

Kept beating aimlessly

Nowhere to hold

Put out other thoughts

Stay quiet for good

Until the right time comes

A Pitiful Decision

Morning sunbeams

Auburn in colors

I won't walk away

Not until you say

I'll do any

Sounds pity

It won't change your mind either

So why should I bother?

The signs seems real

Been neglected many times

Do I have to seal...

Those eerie feelings?

Far Adore : Finale

Hi guys, welcome back. It will be the last part of Far Adore. You know, it's funny we often feel sad if our hopes not turned to be real. Upon all that, as human being is normal. But want to give some emotional affirmations that everything happened because of destiny, and all of the things happened had it's reason. Keep faithful and understand that we should have been thankful. God knows the best for us.

Last week my Father had his bday. Also, at this chapter, he was the one who comforts me. Well, in lot of moments he is still there and kept me company. Thank you Bapak. Will always be in my memories. What I want to do is having more moments with my Dad.

I presented you the last chapter of Far Adore. Thank you for coming and have a good weekend!

Force and Effort

Forcing something
Seems a bit butter
The effort that I'm giving
Seems make you shiver

Time will surely come
Promises not granted
Neither the heart
Yet, the feeling comes by every time

"Be kind to yourself, be off and set free"
"All I can do was pray..."
"Take care of yourself..."

Hanged to Meet

If falling for you could be this hard

Don't let this heart to wait

Burdened and drained

Blaming myself seems not enough

"...and if we do destined, I believe God will meet us up."

"I wish God had us to meet..."

Yourself / Alright

Remind yourself a bit

A big road ahead

Kind to yourself more

Like an endless mother's love...

Dreamy feelings

Return back the time

Where the minds

Keep telling things were alright

"I could wait and be patience, when matters in time, but can I trust my gut more?"

"Or is it destiny that lured us to be abstained?"

Far Thinking : New Glasses Dilemma

In the end of this Jun 2024 I would like to present you another story part of Far Thinking. Today's story was about my glasses. As spectacled person since my elementary school, I often forgot to take off my glasses while sleeping. It's been a couple of time, my glasses broke because I kept it on during my sleep. Until last year, I think it was last October.. my only seven months old glasses broke in the morning, I woke up with tears since I felt I just bought it for only a few months before. Then it took two months for me, to finally buy the new glasses. I was trying to fix my glasses at first but I felt to bought a new one instead.

Long story short, in December near with new year of 2024 my new glasses arrived. The problem was it loosen very quickly on my nose, so it always fell off to the ground. I just fixed my glasses last week which is in June. During January until June I had several moments that I found it was funny, so I decided to put it on a scene in Far Thinking. Hope you like the comic strip! It featured with my co-workers: Gisha, Putri, and Keisha. Thank you for cooperating and gives me permission to put it on my blog.

I'll see you in another story of Far Thinking... thank you for visiting!

A Short Review: Old Friend by Hazel City

Hi all, gonna write a short review, today.. we will talk about an album called 'Old Friend' by Hazel City. It released on 23rd June 2023, yes! Today marked as the first anniversary for the album! Congratulations.. To be honest, Hazel City's song can be my lifetime soundtrack. Because I felt it relate to mine. I just really like his art, songs, and music! I will try to write a short review of this album based on my opinions.

This album consist of nine songs, i.e: Rain; Sailor; Becca; Snow; Gorgeous; Really; Dirt; Rain 2; and Root. My favorites are Rain, Becca, Gorgeous, and Root... Having to know Clay in Twin Peaks and seeing him doing a solo makes me wonder how he expressed his own music. Been watching a lot of Twin Peaks videos, but one video during lock-down covid era time in 2020 was giving me a guidance. He was doing a charity of a magazine under the name of Twin Peaks. Clay played three songs (Sweet Thing, Stain, I Don't Want to Miss You). You can watch the video on here: Link to the video. Generally, the video is him and his guitar a very simple set. This album is look a lot like it, simple but it brings comforts to its listeners. I don't know in musical ways, but I heard piano sound, guitar, percussions, and extra sounds sometimes such as phone ringing, someone's conversations also put on the song in the album (makes more unique). As the album consist of nine songs, I'll be grouping them by three parts. Okay, here we go..

Part 1:
The album was first started with a solo piano, melody, the song called "Rain" very calm music. It tells a story of a man waiting for his girl, wondering where she is and pray for the girl to be safe and come home as he is eagerly to meet with her. I think the song is very sweet, also this one song has its own video directed by Clay Frankel and Jackson James (link: Check the video on here). Second song called "Sailor" a love song by the romantic Clay. I can hear he plays guitar on here, acoustic one I suppose. Then, a violin...? There's a solo violin at minute 01:23 of the song (correct me if its not a violin sound). The song was ended by the phrases of "You're the one I love." Third song, my fav "Becca" female vocalist... when I heard this song, I remember an American Folk Song like Everly Brothers what I mean is emphasized a story... because if you know the lyrics (the most variables one). It has many parts. I really like how the song sounded, the lyrics, well its kind of a sad story though.

Part 2:
"Snow" it is an instrumental music, I think it's a piano... but at the start we can hear a conversation... then comes to the gentle music. the song only lasted not more than 80 seconds. Fourth song also my fav "Gorgeous" hehehe very sweet song but sad at the same time... very relatable with my love live tbh. This could be my life time soundtrack! "Really" a combo Clay and the female vocalist singing together. I think it's a guitar sound, it is a gloomy song. The main character was in love with someone but I think the feeling not reciprocate, and main character wonders around and asking by itself some questions.. like what they sung on the songs.

Part 3:
Final part... "Dirt" I don't really know what instrument he plays on this song.. I'm afraid to guess, I think there is also piano it supposed. But whenever I hear this song what I remember was an old movie "Cold Mountain" because it has the same vibes of music as in that movie. Traditional, old american kind music. I think this song was telling about a boy expressing about his ex... hehe maybe... a disappointment. "Rain 2" female vocalist, I could tell that this song expressed a sincerity in loving someone. I can't tell any others... very deeper meaning.. Lastly, my first fav song from the album "Root" I can hear guitar... the song tells a support to someone that being adored by the main character. Also the main character was keep reminding the person an affirmation about rooting them and promise for future "So, here's getting good and old."

Wait we haven't talk about the cover! The cover for the album is a silhouette of gargoyle in full of greenish vibe. For a complete listen, Clay uploaded his songs on Spotify: Link to stream the album. Well, for an update Clay is now on tour with Waxahatchee.. also with Colin Croom too as her guitarist and pianist. I saw a couple of his posts, Clay paints some arts too. Thank you for sharing your music to the world.. I do really entertain by your art, keep moving forward and success for Clay!

Thank you for reading... happy weekend, as an update I had finished my sketched of Far Thinking last week, gonna do coloring first then up on the blog..
