Late to a Show, What do we Need to Know?

Hello friends, back with me again with compiled of ideas about going on a music show.  Today’s topic is about getting late on a show. Whether you do it on proposed or not.  No one is perfect, sometimes you could experience this kind of stuff. No one would love to come late to a show, especially you are one of the music lovers and that day you are going to attend your favourite music show! I could not imagine, how devastated the condition would be. But life must goes on, right? In the end of the day you should be happy of what’s life gives you anyway. I wrote some tips on how to handle it.

First thing what I am going to talk is, make sure you know you will be late. Don’t hope too much you could be in the front row. Important things to note, you have to know the schedule of the show before its starts. What time do it starts, where is the venue (the address, the name of the place), do the show has been move into new venue or not, how can you get to the venue (by walking or buses or taxi), how much money do we need to go there. Small things like that are sometimes important for newbie show goers.

The time depends on us, you are the controller of your time. Make sure you are not too late to the show, for me you can be arriving 10 or 15 minutes before the main band starting to play, and that’s the maximum. Usually there will be 2 bands who plays, talk to yourself is it okay if you miss the opening band play or not. Still you could feel the win, because you are not missed the main band. You can do whatever you want, but don’t regret too much.

Think about what you can do after you arrived in the venue. Probably what you can do is, chill out near the merch stand, looking around what they offer. Buy drinks if you are thirsty after catching bus or quick walk before you there. Or you can simply search for a position because the show will soon be started. Apparently, you will not have a good position, believe me you will probably in the back or if you are lucky enough you could be in the middle. Take it easy, you can still enjoy the show.

Back to the tips number one, how can you get to the venue. There is something I need to add on this term. If you have some spare money, you can book taxi or simply take uber. But one thing to note. Does the road is crowded or not? If you take taxi and there is a big traffic jam, there you go. You will be stuck on the road. Think twice, please kindly check some apps. How many minutes to go to the venue and compare using taxi with other public transportation. Choose wisely! Don’t get me wrong, I was once on that situation.

Having no plans on that day. I recommend you to not having any other plans before the show started, especially when you didn’t know how long does the plan will go. Because it can interrupt your next plan, which is the show. So, having no plans on that day is better! You can secure yourself of not being late, the chance of not being late is increase.

Don’t loose focus, even if you are in the middle of a rush. Don’t loose your concentration. Bring your printed ticket with you, that’s necessary. Always keep in mind what you should bring. The pressure would be so intense, otherwise you have to waste another time again. Keep calm and be 100% confident. Don’t let anyone know you are sad or insecure about being late. Keep your head up, enjoy every moment in the show. Having longer time to hang out after the show. You may not feel too tired because you might just be arrived 1 hour 30 minutes before it ends. You can meet interesting people, or have a little chit-chat with the bands. You could try this, then off to your hostel or house.

That’s all the tips what I would like to share with you guys. I hope you found it interesting and gives you some information after reading this article. Thank you in advance. See you in another post.
